| Here's a custom set of split reins made of 12 oz russet harness leather. They were made 9 1/2'. The rider who ordered these rode a long necked horse. Couldn't get what he wanted in factory made. Rounded and burnished edges, finished off with braided rawhide keepers at the bit end. The heavy weight has a nice feel and will last forever. (As long as you don't use them to tie up Ol' Dobbin.) |
